Are you getting ready for a new school year? Even though my district doesn’t officially start until after Labor Day, I’m still preparing! I have a huge book order that I am finalizing so I can get it turned in next week in hopes of new books arriving just as the students come back. I’ve also been stalking the Target “Dollar Spot” every week looking to score some cute decor and organizers. Oh, and I have bags of crayons, color pencils and glue sticks that I’m hiding in my laundry room so I can avoid the hubby asking “Did you really need to buy that many?” Umm… YES!!! Truth be told, he’s used to my annual school shopping sprees. God bless him! 😉
I really wanted to update my library signage so I made that a priority this summer. I LOVE Megan Favre’s store I Teach. What’s Your Superpower? and all of her cute digital papers and accents. I particularly loved her “Retro Brights” bundle and decided to use this color scheme in my new library signage products that I just posted over the weekend. I think they’re perfect for an elementary library, but not so overly sweet that it would turn off my “too cool for school” 5th graders.
First are my Dewey Decimal System Posters:
